Hunting Season

There is no bad time to hunt in South Africa

Our hunting season runs from 1st MARCH until 30th November.

Planing your hunt according to your hunting preference is very important so we recommend that Rifle hunts are planed March through October and Bow Hunts (min 10 days) July though September.
April is still part of our rainy season so temperatures are still high and water is easily available.  July through September is our dry season so water is limited to watering holes.
Temperatures in winter (May to August) vary between 5°C (40° F) in the early morning to 20°C (68°F) during mid day. Autumn and Spring (February to April and September to November) varies between 15°C (59°F) to 30°C (86°F).
We recommend a wide brimmed hat with a good sun block with a protection factor of at least 20.
