Booysen Safaris Terms & Conditions

• All rates are quoted in US Dollars.

• Confirmation of hunt is subject to the payment of a 50% deposit fee.

• The balance is payable on the day of arrival.

• Only travelers cheques or cash will be accepted.

• Rates and tariffs are based on current prices and are subject to change without written notice.

• Certain species do require C.I.T.E.S. permits.

• Game not listed may be negotiated.

• Certain species are only available on our Zambian, Zimbabwean and Mozambique concessions.

• The suggested duration of hunts is 7 to 14 days, depending on any trophies required.

• Only animals taken or wounded will be charged.

• Arrival and departure days are required as part of the hunting period unless clients fly or charter to the location.

• All other costs incurred during the Safari, inclusive of trophy fees, are payable upon the completion of the hunt.

• Problem animals such as Hippos, may be hunted and photographed but not exported abroad. Because of this, the amount charged for a Hippo are calculated at a discounted price.

• In all cases a minimum of $3000-00 deposit is payable to Booysen Safaris on confirmation of your booking.

• Deposit for dangerous game is 50% of the total safari (trophy fee included) to confirm the Safari.

• Balance of daily rate is payable prior to commencement of your Safari.

• The Rates and Trophy fees will coincide with the Booysen Safaris price list of the year the Safari takes place.

• A receipt of payment will be confirmed by e-mail.

• Confirmation of Safari dates will be done via e-mail.

• Payments at the conclusion of your Safari may be made in cash.

• NoTravelers Cheques Accepted.

• No Personal Cheques Accepted.

• For your convenience we do accept VISA/MASTER/AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards (South Africa hunts only).  Please note a 2,5% service fee will be added to VISA and MASTER card payments and a 5% service fee on AMERICAN EXPRESS card payments.

• Please make prior arrangements with your credit card company/Bank regarding payments to Hunters Africa Safaris, This must be done before your Safari.  Failure to do so will result in your Bank declining the transaction.

• Trophy fees are payable on all animals killed or wounded and must be paid prior to departure.

• 14% VAT is payable on all animals wounded and lost as well as daily rates.

• No credit given on animals not harvested,days not used and/or trophy fees that was included in the donation and/or package.

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to possible currency fluctuations.

• All clients and observers are required to sign a Booysen Safaris, indemnity agreement before commencement of the Safari.

• Day of Arrival and Day of Departure are non-hunting days.

• Bow Hunting requirement of a min 10 days.

• Booysen Safaris, does not allow Back to Back Safaris.

• All Donations bought are Valid for Two (2) years.

• Cancellation policy: There will be no refund on any deposit paid, unless the hunt is cancelled no less than 6 months prior to the first of March of the Calendar year in which the hunt is booked.  In the event of the hunt being cancelled prior to this date, 50% of the deposit will be refundable.

All rates exclude:

• Air travel, accommodation and travel costs incurred before and after the contracted period of the safari.

• Renting of rifles and ammunition.

• Air charter.

• Disinfecting, packaging, forwarding and insurance of trophies to port of exit from South Africa as well as the ship-ment costs incurred with regards to trophies.

• Taxidermist charges.

• C.I.T.E.S. permits.

• Travel or transfer of hunters by air or road between hunting locations.

• Value added tax (VAT) where applicable.
